Creating a vision for your life!


FULL PODCAST EPISODE 004

"Formulate and stamp indelibly on your mind a mental picture of yourself as succeeding. Hold this picture tenaciously. Never permit it to fade. Your mind will seek to develop the picture... Do not build up obstacles in your imagination." -Dr. Norman Vincent Peale.


In order to create a vision you must first clarify what it is you truly want. Here are 3 simple steps to creating a vision that will excite you and lead you to take action towards that vision. 1) Write down everything you want. Be like a child with an infinite imagination and explore the depths of your mind. Write out every possible thing or experience you want. Don't hold back. It can be materially based, experiences, wealth, career, spiritual, relationships, it doesn't matter. Just sit and go on a conquest. Have fun with this. When you are finished pick 3 of the top things you want.


2) Once you have chosen those 3 desires or outcomes. Out of those 3 things choose one that you really want the most in this moment. Trust your intuition, it has great and awesome power. The moment you choose it close your eyes and imagine with full and vivid detail that you are experiencing that desire or you are in possession of it. The key here is to get as clear as you can in seeing it. Remember, the mind cannot tell the difference between what is happening in real time and what you imagine in your mind. So, the clearer the picture, the more real it will feel. Now, here is the most important part. In order for the subconscious mind to accept the instructions that you are presenting, you must emotionalize the experience. In other words, feel the emotion and excitement in your body. This communicates the subconscious mind on a deeper level and instructs it to move in that direction. If you want to lose 50 lbs of body fat, imagine yourself stepping on the scale and seeing the weight you desire to be. How does that feel? Really feel it as if you are already that person. Whatever it is you want see it in your mind and your mind will translate that into its physical reality.


3) Repeat this everyday, preferably first thing in the morning and/or before you go to sleep. Begin your day with your vision and end your day with it as you are about to enter into your subconscious mind for 7-8 hours. Be vigilant and diligent in this practice. You owe to yourself to create a vision and make it come true. The world needs more people with a vision who are courageous enough to dream and take action.
